MIKO WAITING BY THE FRONT DOOR OF OUR PORT DOVER HOUSE - THE LIGHT IS COMING FROM THE HUGE LIVING ROOM WINDOWS - THE KITCHEN IS JUST TO THE LEFT (OPEN-CONCEPT STUFF) - I GUESS I HADN'T YET MOUNTED THE QUILT ON THE STAIR-LANDING WALL TO THE RIGHT - IT WAS ONE OF HER BEST AND BIGGEST (THE SAME "ILLINOIS" ONE - A QUILTERS' PATTERN NAME I PUT UP IN HAMILTON AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS IN A FOLDED DISPLAY ON A POLE) - IN PORT DOVER THERE WAS MORE WALL SPACE AND I DID AN ELABORATE JOB WITH A LADDER OF MOUNTING IT FULL-SIZE WITH TACKS ALONG THE EDGES - A JOHN CHUCKMAN IMAGE
