MARJORIE'S LILAC COTTAGE SEWING ROOM - PORTLAND MAINE - NOTE THE BEAUTIFUL DOLL AND OUTFIT MARJIE MADE FROM A DECADES-OLD PATTERN SHE FOUND IN A PIECE OF FURNITURE WE BOUGHT - WE STRIPPED MOST OF THE HOUSE (WHAT A JOB WITH OLD-FASHIONED WALLPAPERS THAT ARE PASTED) - THE WALLPAPERS CHUCKY PUT UP AFTER WERE SOME VERY HANDSOME ONES, LIKE THIS ONE - I ALSO HAD TO REPAINT ALL TRIM AND CEILINGS AND WE HAD THE OLD RADS STRIPPED AND PAINTED TO GO WITH THE TRIM - WOW WE DID A LOT OF WORK BUT WE LOVED THE HOUSE AND MARJIE HAD ALWAYS DREAMED OF LIVING IN MAINE FROM READING ELISABETH OGALIVIE BOOKS - THIS REALLY BECAME A GORGEOUS RELAXING LITTLE ROOM - A JOHN CHUCKMAN IMAGE
