MARJIE'S STUDY AT PORT DOVER HOUSE - THE COUCH WAS ONE FROM THE MAINE HOUSE LEFT BEHIND BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO WAS AN OLD SEA CAPTAIN'S WIFE - MIKO LIKED SITTING ON IT - YOU CAN SEE THE ANTIQUE-STYLE DOLL MARJIE MADE IN MAINE FROM AN OLD PATTERN WE FOUND TUCKED INTO SOMETHING ON THE LOWER RIGHT - MARJIE DIDN'T BRING IT IN OUR DOWN-SIZING WHICH WAS A SHAME BECAUSE THE OUTFIT WAS A REMARKABLE PIECE OF SEWING - THE DOLL IS SITTING ON GRANDPA'S OLD CHAIR WHICH ALSO DIDN'T MAKE IT IN THE DOWN-SIZING FOR MONTREAL - OUTSIDE THE WINDOWS WAS A HUGE EMPTY LOT I LIKED FOR ALL ITS WILDFLOWERS AND CRITTERS - SPEAKING OF CRITTERS WE USED TO SEE THE FALL MIGRATION OF MONARCH BUTTERFLIES IN PORT DOVER - THEY WENT RIGHT BY THE HOUSE OVER SEVERAL DAYS HEADING SOUTH - A DELIGHTFUL SIGHT - A JOHN CHUCKMAN IMAGE
